Weather & Forage Tracking
Understanding local weather and forage conditions is essential for successful beekeeping. ApiaryPilot integrates weather data and lets you log forage observations.
Weather Widget
Each apiary detail page shows a weather widget with:
- Current temperature and conditions
- Wind speed and humidity
- 5-day forecast
Weather data is based on the GPS coordinates you set for your apiary.
Forage Logs
Track what's blooming near your apiaries:
- Go to an apiary's detail page
- Click Add Forage Log
- Record:
- Flora type — What plants are blooming
- Bloom status — Early, peak, or declining
- Nectar flow — None, light, moderate, or heavy
- Seasonal notes — Any observations
