Smart Seasonal Calendar
The Smart Seasonal Calendar generates a 4-week task plan for a specific apiary, tailored to its location, current season, weather patterns and colony strength. It's designed to help you stay one step ahead of what your bees need — and to explain why each task matters, so you learn as you plan.
Where to find it
Open the Calendar page from the sidebar (buoy-shaped icon in the navigation). Pick the apiary you want a plan for and click Generate calendar.
What you get
- A 4-week grid, laid out 2 weeks per row for easy scanning
- Suggested tasks per week with a category (inspection, feeding, treatment, harvest, winter prep, swarm management, …)
- A "Why" explanation for each task, so you understand the reasoning behind the suggestion
- A + Add button on each task to push it straight into your task list
What the AI considers
- The apiary's location and current season
- Recent inspections, mite counts and treatments
- Colony strength signals from your latest data
- Typical seasonal milestones (spring build-up, main flow, post-harvest, winterization)
Saving and regenerating
Once a calendar is generated, it's automatically saved for that apiary and month. When you navigate away and come back, you'll see the saved version with a small Saved indicator and can pick up right where you left off — including any tasks you've already marked as added. To get a fresh plan (for example after logging new inspections), click Regenerate calendar.
Plan availability
The Smart Seasonal Calendar is included with Starter, Team, and Commercial plans.
Tip: Generate a new calendar after major events like a treatment round, a harvest, or a big weather shift — the suggestions will reflect your latest reality.
